Before the project kicked off, some floor tiles were found in good condition. So our conservation team was keen to preserve them by refurbishing the tiles and relaying them indoors, as well as on the low wall of the rooftop garden on the third floor. The conservation team is looking to preserve the traditional building craftsmanship, at the same time repurposing the old buildings for new use so as to integrate the old and the new characteristics.
